The Cantonese audio track is 95% English. There are also subtitles you can turn on and off again so you never miss anything. Simply turn on the subtitles for the first few minutes of the movie and then turn them off from there since the rest is completely English. This HK release is about 17 minutes longer than the US version! If you can afford it, this is the version to get. I have both and enjoy the HK version much better!

This version is unfortunatly shorter than the superior, original HK version. This version is readily accessible to the US and therefore I'm gratefull. It is a fairly decent copy although a few features would be nice. The Trailer is just a new US version of the Trailer, which I don't consider a feature. The 16x9 enhancement is nice but in many scenes the transfer just doens't look as nice as the non-enhanced HK version. The benefits of this release are: 1. Readily available in US, 2. Can be bought for less than half price of HK import, 3. 16x9 enhanced for Widescreen TV's, 4. $18.99 at reel.com

The Video CD is framed properly at 2.35:1, this is the best way to watch it, but on the VCD there are a few instances of pixelated edges. There are only Chinese subtitles, so there is no English translation for that whole African scene near the beginning of the film.

From what I have heard, this VCD was a limited edition released in HK. It came in a box set
with the movie, and it had no in sleeve cover, just a ordinary jewel case.
This was probably made for HK audiences only, hence the Chinese only subtitles. (There are no translation for the narration and some of the interviews)
